Gear Repair Services

Repair Studio:

Individuals can send or drop off damaged gear and apparel for repair. Please use the form above if you have gear needing repair.

Set up at our location in Brunswick, our sewing and repair studio is used to maintain our inventory of gear and support outdoor industry warranty fulfillment.

All fees collected directly support our programs that serve nonprofits, schools, and other mission-based organizations building equitable access to the outdoors.


Pop-Up Events:

Maine GearShare sets up pop-up repair stations at events, including outdoor industry events, festivals, and summits targeting the outdoor recreation sector. These pop-up events support our goal of increased access to gear for all while sharing our message of sharing, collaboration, and landfill diversion. 3rd Thursday Volunteer Night:

On the third Thursday of each month from 4-7pm, we host a volunteer repair evening. Current and interested volunteers socialize, snack, and sew. These evenings are a great opportunity to support Maine GearShare, share skills, learn, and meet a fun group of likeminded people who care about repair and sustainability.
